Stop guessing.Give the perfect gift, every time.

Curate a shortlist, get confidential feedback from the recipient, and buy exactly what they want—without ever ruining the surprise.

How GiftQuest Works

What exactly is GiftQuest?
GiftQuest is a smart recommendation engine designed to solve the "guessing game" of gift-giving. We help you curate a list of potential gifts based on interests, and then, this is the best part, we allow you to anonymously poll the recipient. You get the data you need to buy the perfect gift, and they still get a surprise at the end.
Is this just a standard wish list?
Not quite. A wish list is written by the recipient. GiftQuest is driven by the giver. You start the quest by finding ideas you think they will like, and they simply provide feedback. It removes the pressure from them to "ask for things" while ensuring your gift is thoughtful.
Is GiftQuest free?
Yes! It is completely free to generate recommendations and launch a feedback quest.

The "Confidential Feedback" Loop

How does the feedback process work?
Once you have selected a few potential gifts (we recommend 3–5), you can send a secure GiftQuest link to the recipient via email. They will land on a private page where they can rate the items as: Love it, Like it, Already have it, Not for me.
Will sending the list ruin the surprise?
No! That is the core feature of GiftQuest. Because you send a shortlist of multiple options, the recipient won't know which one you will actually choose. They know they are getting one of the items (or perhaps a bundle!), but the final unboxing remains a mystery.
Can the recipient see the prices?
Absolutely not. When the recipient views their GiftQuest list, all prices and store links are hidden. They only see the product image and description.
Does the recipient need to create an account to vote?
No. We know that adds too much friction. The link in their email is unique to their session; they can click, vote, and submit without signing up for anything.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. You can send the quest as yourself ("John wants your input") or go fully mysterious ("A Secret Admirer wants your input").

Recommendations & Purchasing

Where do the gift suggestions come from?
Our engine analyzes the tags, interests, and occasion you provide to surface products from trusted retailers across the web.
Do I buy the gift directly through GiftQuest?
No. Once you get the feedback results and complete your quest, we provide a direct link to the retailer (e.g., Amazon, Etsy, Uncommon Goods) where you can purchase the item securely.
What happens if they mark everything as "Not for me"?
It happens! If the recipient rejects the shortlist, you will be notified immediately. You can then generate a new batch of recommendations and try again. It's better to know now than after you've bought it!

Privacy & Data

Do you spam the recipient?
Never. The recipient's email address is used only to send the one-time feedback request. We do not store their email for marketing lists, and we will never email them again unless you send a new list.
Can the recipient see my budget?
No. Your budget filters are for your eyes only.
